Supplement List UK

Hi All,

I wanted to put a list together that is the same as the other list but UK specific. I believe there are a few of us from the UK now and many of the supplements would not get to us.

Supplements:

Vitamin A

Calcium

Vitamin E

http://www.vitaminsuk.com/index.php?mai ... button.y=0

Vitamin D

Vitamin K2

http://www.vitaminsuk.com/index.php?mai ... s_id=24439

Niacinimide (B3)

B1 (I have seen a fair few people recommending supplementing B1)

Pregnenolone

http://biovea.co.uk/product_detail.aspx ... op-of-page (Im unsure if this will suffice due to one of the ingredients. If you find better let me know below!)

Progest-E
http://www.nhmworldwide.co.uk/acatalog/ ... html#a0018

Selenium

Thyroid (T3)

Magnesium

Epsom Salts

Charcoal

Salt

Baking Soda

Gelatin

Coconut oil

Sugar

Thermometer

Paper Bags

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brown-Kraft-Pap ... 898&sr=1-9 These are good but pop easily

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brown-Paper-Car ... 898&sr=1-5 If you screw these up a bit they get softer enabling bag breathing AND they are less likely to pop due to the thicker paper. You can just tear the handles off.

Cookware

Lights

Aspirin

As the recommendations come in it would be a good idea for all to agree it would likely pass the Peat criteria.

Am I able to edit this post updating it as we go?

Thanks

Martin

You should be good on editing now, let me know if it doesn't work.

This is a great idea for UK people!

Hi Charlie, Still cant see to edit original.

If anyone knows for certain that a supplier on the original supplements thread ships to the UK without issue let me know and I will chuck that link in above.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

You will get the wavelengths you need from normal incandescents. The most optimal light is still in discussion but that doesn't mean you wont reap the benefits from one or the other.

Many places online still sell them as stocks are generally still quite high thanks to many making the switch to energy saving bulbs long before incandescents were banned.

Two of these: https://www.bltdirect.com/product.php?pid=1033&cat=1763 shining on your face or on your feet (Or any part of your body) will do the job.

Hope that helps.

kettlebell, thank you for the very helpful reply. I am not very electricity savvy, would a 110-240v, 50-60hz, MAX 25W R50 lamp be adequate? I have no idea about light bulbs.

I think the wattage is what is important (Someone correct me if im wrong).

getting enough bulbs to add up to 250w or so should suffice. so 2 X 100w and 1 X 50 all shining on you at the same time.

Sorry I meant the lamps that you plug into the wall and you put the bulb in. What sort of lamp do I need? As I say, I am clueless when it comes to electrical bulbs and lamps.

You need a lamp with a standard ES (Eddison screw) or bayonett fitting. Depends on the bulb. Almost all incandescent bulbs were either standard ES or bayonett for anything up to 250watt.

I know a normal household/table lamp socket is only rated up to 100w. I have been looking for other sockets but am struggling to find any rated high enough. Do you know a website that will source any?

I have found another source of incandescent light bulbs at http://www.heatbulbs.eu/en/order

I am in the UK and I am trying to get some thyroid supplement. I only started hunting for those - after months of Peat diet, I still have many symptoms of hypothyroidism including low temperature.

Without a prescription, it seems quite tough. I've ordered the Peat ones from mymexicandrugstore, but it takes a long time (min 3.5 weeks). I hope there won't be a problem at customs.

There are two dessicated thyroid supplements you can still order and get shipped from within the UK without prescription: Raw Thyroid from Natural Source, and Metavive from Natural Choice. Due to legislation, those are sold as food supplements - they therefore contains loads of added ingredients/vitamins and there is no information on the amount of thyroid in each capsule. Raw Thyroid has a huge amount of iodine in each capsule, so I decided not to experiment with it. Metative has a large number of other ingredients (mostly vitamins/minerals) and a safer amount of iodine - it seems like the thyroid may be of superior quality than in Raw Thyroid, but I'm still worried about the added ingredients.

GPs in the UK seem to prescribe thyroid only after blood tests - not symptoms or temperature. My GP originally thought TSH was enough to test hypothyroidism, which is nonsense.

I am pretty sure you can get Thiroyd and Thyroid-S delivered to you no problem. Just look under Thyroid Supplements on the link below:

boxjack - I've got deliveries to UK from mymexicandrugstore, no problems other than the wait. I would probably just stick to cynoplus and cyn/tomel.

I feel your pain with GP's. Despite it being free all the doctors I have gone to have been massively disappointing, especially about thyroid issues.

Out of curiosity, where are you buying your food from?

Thanks.

@chris: which food are you referring to? Milk is good quality in the UK so any store though I usually get organic, I get weekly beef liver and oysters from a local butcher and fish market.

I would like to get some Nutrisorb A from Interplexus, a pure retinol supplement, to get more regular vit A (I can't eat beef liver every day...) but it's out of stock right now from UK suppliers - seems quite tough to get.
