Hi

Does sublingual dhea still produce DHEAS eventually? I want to take sublingual but i also want some DHEAS out of it as well. Will it still make DHEAS on 2nd liver pass?

Or would it be better to just take 12.5mg oral and 12.5mg sublingual to get both?

Thanks

I find sublingual very estrogenic. I don't think it converts to DHEA-S, which would make since because it's bypassing that first pass of the liver, which is where the conversion occurs. I recommend trying both methods of administration for yourself but you definitely don't need 12.5mg for sublingual. I'd start with a much lower dose. 12.5mg oral is fine if you take anti estrogenic substances regularly.

Thx, that’s interesting!
I always thought sublingual is less estrogenic?

here is a nice overview

At least in theory both are converted back and forth as needed.
