Ingredients / shopping list:
Potatoes from babushka's field
Beef - good quality not that fat cow that you saw that one time
Onions
Garlic
Mushrooms of your own preference
ACTUAL BUTTER for cooking
Salt and pepper for seasoning because that's all you need
Some flour for thickening the sauce
Sour cream and mayonez to create the actual sauce
And bay leaf for last touch of taste
Top it off with green onion

Love it! :D Thanks for posting this recipe, looks really yummy! LOVE the sour cream....Ja, I think I'm going to try it.....the only thing I would do is tweek the mayo making a Peaty version.

I'm going to have to try this. I'm having an awful time for dinners! I'm not only trying to feed myself healthier but my my mother that's from Florida and loves that good southern cooking. She has dementia and is ready to shoot me!!! I have no idea what to serve her for dinner anymore!!!

I use sprouting grain flour and like it much better and I don't have to use as much.
