Stock market crashing but news isn't talking about it. Smaller crashes a year ago or so had much more coverage right?

Am I wrong about this?

Any theories on why the media is hardly covering this crash? But smaller crashes they made a huge deal out of in the past?

(I remember a crash about a year ago when the market only went down to the level it was at one month ago. The media was talking about it a ton and I remember talking to people that were saying it was so bad. The market is currently down to what it was at more than 3 months ago.)

Anyone who follows the market is paying attention, indexes have not been hit to hard but individual growth stocks have been slaughtered.

Most of the public don't really follow the market, life advice, throw $500 a month into an index funds set up a drip and retire wealthy.

Only one headline fits the front page.

The greater hoax renders lesser hoaxes un-newsworthy.

It’s not a crash… yet. Just a correction which is overdue. Even if the SP500 loses another 10% or so it’s still a correction.
