No, but I wouldn’t eat anything that smells like that.Hello,
I bought stearic acid from here, I tried it today but has a really strong smell like crayons or industrial chemical, it does not have taste though. Has anybody tried stearic acid and can report the smell/taste of it?
Thanks
Where did you buy your stearic acid from?Same here.
it is like eating candles. Not very pleasant.
but I think it is doing something
lost a bit of weight.
I don't remember anymore. I was told it was food grade.Same here.

I vote for this!cacao butter can also get you high levels of stearic with much less processing
Could you recommend a supplier? As a person who uses steric acid by the hundreds of pounds for my business it absolutely should not have a smell.
Also, yeesh people just eat some butter/ghee/tallow for steric acid content, not a chemical thickening agent for cosmetics
I am trying this one at the moment.Could you recommend a supplier?
Are you still using steraic acid? I took some and it's literally like candles. Not sure if safeCould you recommend a supplier?
Haven't used it in a long time nor have I tried the supplier recommended in this thread yet.Are you still using steraic acid? I took some and it's literally like candles. Not sure if safe
Wow I literally was going to order this tonight. I'm in Germany and they ship from Netherlands right?I am trying this one at the moment.
Its USP and much better quality than the one I posted. It's a fine powder too so its easier to dissolve in hot milk.
