I have been reading that the statins apparently help bone growth and osteogenesis by inhibiting osteoclasts differentiation and descreasing osteoblasts apoptosis. As an example this research paper from CHINA tries to explain this http://www.bioscirep.org/content/ppbioscirep/32/6/511.full.pdf .There are non US/EU papers on this one. Seems hard to digest.
Can someone elaborate ?
