Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been on the forum and just have a quick question about something I've noticed. I'll also give a bit of a back round to this phenomena for context.
I started looking into low-carb diets a few years ago, not for weight-loss but due to whenever eating carbohydrates I would have sweet saliva gushing into my mouth for hours afterwards, so naturally lost taste for anything sweet. After I found that LSD doesn't work for me without having eaten carbs I started to reintroduce them and have found that starch causes the sweet tasting saliva in my mouth, yet I can drink OJ or milk no problem. My bloodsugar stays the same (~100) regardless.
I was just wondering why sucrose or lactose would be processed differently compared to starch and what could be causing the sweet saliva?
Thanks for any info :)
