I've taken on a new job which requires standing most of the day for 11 hours (6am - 6pm 4 days on 4 days off).

Today was my first day and I was thinking if there's anything I should be doing working in this kind of environment?

Thermal clothing for one, I have 3 x 30 minutes breaks too, but I just feel there's something I could do to make the environment and nature of the job more comfortable?

Keeping spin straight... My posture if f***** up anyway but I'm working on that and I think standing rather than sitting is better in the long run.

I just mean straight relative within your own frame... No stress, just an opportunity to practice.

Suprisingly it's not as tough (stressful) as working in my "dream" job in Architecture! Same pay, far less stress! And we have the radio on and people actually talk to each other LOL

We change wellies multiple timer a day, so they would need to go between two pair of socks... Any point with circulation socks like what you use for flights?
