Champagne socialists are the worst of the worst. At the end of the day, Rogan could choose any platform for his podcast and still be a very wealthy man.

ROTFL...

The entire lot of anti-Roganites aren't worth 1/100th of Rogan's deal.

They are merely crying babies kicking and screaming until they get their way, as if Spotify would jettison one of the global media's most valuable assets to appease the rantings of a presumably petulant political proletariat who are angry that one man's views and opinions built a media empire that eclipses anything they'll every collectively accomplish in their lifetimes.

I speculate they'll cherry-pick issues Rogan has taken positions on to attack him personally and to justify their rantings. But at the end of the day, I think it's simply an imbalance in supply & demand -- they demand more than they supply in value, in contrast to Rogan.

To be clear, it's not even Rogan's opinions. It's the opinions/content of some of the people he's had on the show for interviews. Rogan himself is fairly neutral/centrist.

In a sane world, these mysterious employees would get kicked to the curb. This is Big Tech we're talking about though, so I give it 50/50 chances Spotify goes with the woke agenda and moves against Rogan, despite their contract stating that he has full control over his content. This has been building for the past 2 weeks...first they didn't upload his interviews with right-leaning guests, then there was a staged outrage inside the company over one of his episodes which criticizes the transgenderism push, then after he agreed to moderate a potential Trump-Biden debate the media has gone all-in on smearing him. It's amazing how quickly they've escalated their attacks on him. He hasn't been at Spotify even two months.

Maybe the Spotify deal was initiated by Youtube as a sort of soft ban/censorship of Joe Rogan. Nobody will blame YT if JR is silenced by Spotify and JR will shut up in hope of keeping the money, which he might receive in part only if his podcast doesn't perform as agreed in the contract.

In my opinion there is not much to censor about Joe Rogan, he portrays a very mainstream worldview and backpedals on most controversial things he had said.

If anything it was a great marketing gig. You have every corner of the internet and even worldwide news suddenly talking about Spotify and Joe Rogan .

JR said he left YT because he could not invite certain guests like doctors who have an alternative view on convid. This is going to be a slow process of attrition that will mainstream JRs content and his podcast will decent in popularity. Soon there will be only lame jewish comedians and mma types left.

Joe Rogan had Alex Jones on his latest podcast (#1555). Not only that, they talked about Hunter Biden's laptop and the media cover-up.

I'm no fan of Alex Jones and think he is a nut job. But as a true liberal who believes in the values of the enlightenment including free speech, I think this is great. Joe Rogan is fighting back against cancel culture!

Joe Rogan is definitely controlled opposition. He’s well connected to the Esalen Institute and being used by military industrial complex. This is probably being done so that he can appear as anti-establishment.

My impression of Joe Rogan is that he is a open minded guy who isn't attached to any ideology. Thankfully he strongly believes in the principles of free speech and free expression.

Sure, he had Alex Jones on his podcast but he also had Kyle Kulinski who is the complete opposite of Alex Jones. Since he brings in people with a wide variety of ideologies and viewpoints, there is balance on his show.
