Welcome to Spellbreaker’s Ascending Muscle Solitarium (name under construction)

In short, this will be a video log on my progress doing bodybuilding while incorporating Ray Peat’s views… mixed with my own.

The current goal is to become healthier, more androgenic, feel better and gain muscle sustainably.

--------------------
A little introduction:
I'm pretty new here, a lurker since 2018, around the same time I started Peating.
Learned a lot here, still learning.

After more than a decade of going to the gym I took a 1 year long break, recovering from my past mistakes.
In 2019 I started hitting the gym again while continuing to incorporate Peaty principles...
Peatybuilding.

I do enjoy learning and sharing things that can help us progress but I'm not that much of a scientist or expert in these areas as some of you are.
So I'll just be a guinea pig instead and make a video log.
This way people can see with their own eyes if it's possible to reach roid levels of androgenicity (is that a word?) through Peaty ways.
I can also try to be a bit more creative this way.

I’ll be experimenting with different substances to try to enhance myself as naturally, sustainably and ‘regeneratively’ as possible.
Meaning I don’t want to decrease my body’s natural functions but instead increase them.

If you have suggestions, questions or any other comments I'd love to hear it.
-------------------

Starting tomorrow I will be administering Progesterone + DHEA and Thyroid (T3/T4)... on top of my food regimen and my other supplements.

Here’s the first video log where I go into detail more:

Also, please do leave a like if you liked it.

I've been following @OccamzRazer and @youngsinatra 's logs for a while now and was inspired them to post here.

And OccamzRazer has definitely ignited my interest in silver era bodybuilding (been incoperating Reeves shrugs lately).

If anyone has any suggestions (like a better name lol) please feel free to add something.

New video update weekly.

Some info and stats:

Bodycomp:
- 89 kg (196lbs)
- 180cm (5'11)
- 20%+- bodyfat

Major lifts:

80kg x 10 bench
80kg x 20 squat
60kg x 12 rows
80kg x 10 incline dumbel press
... And I haven't done any deadlifts in a while.

As you can see these numbers are pretty low but ever since I started training again I train very relaxed
Making sure I keep breathing in and out through my nose.
Trying not to overexert myself too much.

Problems I deal with:

- Bloating for as long as I can remember
- Hard time digesting milk
- Receiding hairline at 16 (seems to have halted)
- Probably a hypometabolic as a kid

Great stuff brother! Will be following with interest. The log's name is kind of cool - it's unique!

Glad you've taken up the Reeve's shrug, I think you will like its effects over time!

Also check out a blog called "The Tight Tan Slacks of Dezso Ban" if you haven't already...lots of great old-school info there.

Thanks Bro!

It does feel like Reeves shrugs will really help with broadening the shoulders on a skeletal level too.

Will check out your suggestion. His name is almost as rediculous as mine!

Update, 10 days later.

Some of the things I didn't mention in the video:

- My hair seems to be shedding more than usual and the hair on my chest, arms and neck is increasing.
Is this the thyroid?

- Less bloat and I'm actually drinking dairy without getting diarreah (wow).

- The past 2 days I've been feeling a little more aggitated and my voice is becoming more high pitched again.

Watch the video for all the other info
And let me know what you think... Did you enjoy the little workout clip?

Sound seems to be terrible for some reason.

More cortisol related or at least adrenal overactivity.

Any suggestions on how to address this?
Very peculiar as I had been feeling more relaxed.

I‘ve also been experiencing higher libido in the mornings but then basically no libido throughout the rest of the day.
Whatever that means.

I've experienced weird hair growth in those areas with increased copper intake. It went away after lowering dietary copper and increasing dietary zinc.

I‘m also experiencing increased grey hairs, so I was thinking I needed more copper.

Where do you get your dietary zinc from the most?
I eat like a can of oysters a week but maybe I should start eating 2 cans a week.

At least the hair isn’t on my back… yet.

Good diet, aspirin, progesterone, etc. Basically, the things you're doing. Not sure if the training is suddenly causing it.

Thanks. My training schedule is the same.

My body hair was always on the lower side
Maybe I'm finally turning into a man :P

morning wood and no "libido" during the day is what you want. Unless you mean that a flirting girl won't make you warm or that you have no desire for your girlfriend.
