I just came across this--haven't tried it yet.
But it is a software which claims to automatically tune out
the bad blue light spectrum
from computer monitors.

It's called "F. Lux."
http://stereopsis.com/flux/

Many of us spend a lot of time looking at computer screens
which radiate the blue light spectrum.
In Peat's view, as I understand it,
this blue light is bad for us
(see his: Aging Eyes, Infant Eyes, and Excitable Tissues
http://raypeat.com/articles/articles/aging-eyes.shtml)

As I say,
I haven't tried it yet, but I think I will.
So...not pimping.
Anybody tried it?

Couldn't figure out what forum to place this in.
I know it's not a supplement.
But I guess it is a gizmo that blocks bad, unwanted "supplements,"
if you can consider blue light a supplement....

I've been using this for many years now, thru 3 different computers. It really makes things more comfortable on the eyes at night.

F.Lux will unblue the light at night. There are other ways to unblue the display generally if that's what you want. I believe a color profile might be what you want ...

Narouz, I use it. Good stuff!

I will probably move this thread to "general discussion" if thats OK? It will still be in the Peat area which I think it should be.
