Is soft boiled the best way to eat eggs, and if so, is it because nutrients are retained much better than to fry/scramble/etc? Do eggs in general, get a bad rap?

You want to fry eggs in butter/coconut oil. An omelette or scramble is fine if done in fat. There is no emphasis on the idea that the nutrients are more intact in unbroken yolks.*

That I know of. Maybe I missed it.

I'm lazy as hell and can't stand preparing food so I just eat softboiled or raw eggs

It's actually pretty simple to "boil" eggs in a toaster oven.

DMF,
I guess the question had nothing to do with the "intact yolk" idea where the yolk should not be broken before cooking because it gets oxidized.
So, ignore my answer above. ;)
