If I stand correct. Simple syrup is freebound fructose/ glucose and not sucrose?

I started taking it two days ago.

1) Increase in energy
2) 2-3x coffee consumption without jitters
3) ran 7 sprints fatigue free today, normally I am dead after 4.

I add a decent ammount to smoothies- Mango+OJ+Simple syrup. Like jet fuel

I want to say it mimics fruit sugar/honey being free bound rather than connected disacchriade.

I normally cannot handle straight white sugar.

I think it’s cane sugar and water.

You are not exactly correct. It remains sucrose, but each molecule of sucrose is separated and bonded to an electron shared by an -H ion. I had never thought of the implications of this. Perhaps it metabolizes differently under such circumstances?

Can you further describe the different effects you experience between sucrose and simple syrup?

Boil water+sucrose= free bound glucose/fructose?

Chemistry at its finest: inverted sugar syrup for cocktails

"You simply invert the basic sugar, sucrose, into its two basic components: glucose and fructose."

The quora post I believe was mixing cold water with sucrose.

When I do that with milk I get bad reactions.

However free glucose/fructose in simple syrup the effects are much more stimulating metabolically. Like I am on my third cup of simple syrup in less than a week and keep getting great effects. It's like a fruit/honey rather than cane sucrose.

When I say I feel better
I mean I can tolerate 2-3x the coffee
Hair is volumized
energy is up

It is also sweeter since the fructose binds directly to the tongue

An excellent distinction, and well supported by other sources. A way of catalysing the reaction also seems to be acidification, which could be as simple as a little lemon juice.

Inverted sugar syrup - Wikipedia

Such a simple thing, which I had never considered.

If putting maple syrup in a hot drink, does this essentially have the same effect? As in the sucrose in the maple syrup becomes free bound glucose/fructose?
