An interesting interview with Dr. Anthony Samsel, long-term contract researcher brings some interesting facts out that he's already included in his research papers. But it's scary to hear him say that Monsanto has known since 1981 that their herbicide product causes adenomas and carcinomas, especially in the pituitary, breast and testes, but they hid this information derived during product testing, and used the reasoning that they needed to withhold the information because it constituted "trade secrets".

Dr. Samsel applIed to the USDA to release these "trade secret" documents, received them in 2011, and now reports on some of the secrets they hold, and postulates on some of the effect the secrecy may have on our health.

Have others read his scientific reports, or listened to this interview?

What ideas does this bring up? Is this an unnecessary health scare?

I think glycophosphates are bad news.
You should be in good shape with your organic garden, Enoree. :)

More broadly,
one of my favorite Peat interviews with The Herb Doctors
is called "Calcium and Phosphate Metabolism."

I think this is an important and oft-overlooked Peat principle--
watching the calcium:phosphate balance of the diet.
