I've heard Dr Peat suggest eating a piece of fruit soon after waking perhaps drinking orange juice is fine tooDoes the time of eating them matter?

+1Due to Protein in milk have the orange juice first, then perhaps milk 30-40 minutes later IMO.
Honestly I don't think it matters much. I have 500ml of milk, each morning, which has 25g of carbs and is enough to stop any stress after an overnight fast. If someone is metabolically compromised, then fruit juice (with gelatin) consumption with aspirin could be more ideal for a higher carb intake.Does the time of eating them matter?
