Hello... I would like to ask for your opinion and advice on what possibly I am doing wrong... I'm 42, I've had hysterectomy with my ovaries still intact and I've developed secondary hypothyroidism. The tests show no pituitary or adrenal adenoma, but for some reason my TSH is very repressed with its values being close to zero. I have severe Estrogen dominance, low Progesterone levels, slightly raised cortisol levels and some insulin resistance. I've been following Ray Peat's dietary principles for 8 months now thus significantly improving my energy levels, but my thyroid is still struggling. I've been taking NDT 40mg for 6 months but my FT3 and FT4 don't seem to be pushing off from the bottom, and my TSH is constantly dropping. I also take the following supplements : Estroban, Niacinamide 100mg (with every meal), Energin, Mg, Vit. D3, Е-Тocovit. I try to keep my daily intake of PUFAs down to 3g and avoid all grains and glutenous foods. I'm considering starting on the bioidentical Progesterone of IdeaLabs. I would really like to hear what you make of all this and am ready to take any suggestions you may have on how to optimize my thyroid hormones. Thank you very much in advance.
