I can't say I understand this article, but why was SARS-CoV2 and SARS-CoV3 mentioned in a study from 2008?

Also this site has a lot of info I haven't seen anywhere else......some of it a little disturbing, especially in this article where they talk about SARS-CoV2 resembling an airborne version of the HIV virus.

are the "long hauler" covid symptoms in any way similar to HIV progression symptoms?

Be careful with Thailand Medical News. It has some really interesting, useful stuff interspersed with a lot of unsubstantiated covid fear porn. I'm not sure what their agenda is, but it may have something to do with their promotions that look to be fishing for mobile #s. I don't think they are medical experts.

Those 2 articles had links to the research, so I think they are legit. The 2nd article is still under review.
Then today, to add concern I see this article on my local news which further supports the 2nd article that Covid can be a long-term illness:

Abstract
COVID-19 patients can recover with a median SARS-CoV-2 clearance of 20 days post initial symptoms (PIS). However, we observed some COVID-19 patients with existing SARS-CoV-2 for more than 50 days PIS. This study aimed to investigate the cause of viral clearance delay and the infectivity in these patients. Demographic data and clinical characteristics of 22 long-term COVID-19 patients were collected. SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid, peripheral lymphocyte count, and functionality were assessed. SARS-CoV-2-specific and neutralization antibodies were detected, followed by virus isolation and genome sequencing. The median age of the studied cohort was 59.83±12.94 years. All patients were clinically cured after long-term SARS-CoV-2 infection ranging from 53 to 112 days PIS. Peripheral lymphocytes counts were normal. Interferon gamma (IFN-ƴ)-generated CD4+ and CD8+ cells were normal as 24.68±9.60% and 66.41±14.87%. However, the number of IFN-ƴ-generated NK cells diminished (58.03±11.78%). All patients presented detectable IgG, which positively correlated with mild neutralizing activity (ID50=157.2, P=0.05). SARS-CoV-2 was not isolated, and a cytopathic effect was lacking. Only three synonymous variants were identified in spike protein coding regions. In conclusion, decreased IFN-γ production by NK cells and low neutralizing antibodies might favor SARS-CoV-2 long-term existence. Further, low viral load and weak viral pathogenicity was observed in COVID-19 patients with long-term SARS-CoV-2 infection.

So that goes along with the thoughts of the 2nd article that Covid can be a long-term illness:

FYI, a lot of scientific studies are just pure bull****. A lot of really incompetent people populate academia's ranks and have to publish in order to keep their jobs (publish or perish). There's no accountability for putting out crap, but they do get to keep their jobs when they publish.

I'll keep that in mind..........I believe you.
Any thoughts on the first link I posted? Why does a study from 2008 mention SARS CoV2 and SARS CoV3?
Wasn't SARS CoV2 supposedly just discovered in 2019?

Well, if they get Tuberculousis, Fever, Regular Pneumonia, Pneumonitis Pneumonia, Kaposi's Sarcoma, Shingles, Diarrhea, Wasting disease, CMV, Candidiasis, Pelvic Inflammation, Peripheral neuropathy, Cervical Cancer, Lymphoma, Herpes Simplex, Samonella, or one of the other so called "AIDS diseases," then sure. COVID isn't the first time they just re-branded existing diseases.

Well, that's what the propaganda claimed. Of course, the propaganda also claimed it jumped from a bat to a human, and that they isolated it in the very first patient ever, and that radical and untested medical experiments were the only way to stop this "novel virus," and that it would kill 65 million+ people by December of 2020. So what's another few lies on top of the mountain of lies they've been spewing for the past year?

SARSCov-2 in 2008 is a name given to some type of corona virus thingie they discovered then. SARSCov-2 today is marketing. It's just a name.

But it was a "novel Corona Virus." Why didn't they shut down the world then? Isn't that the standard protocol for newly discovered "novel Corona Viruses?"

They'll probably add cough due to cold to covid long haul, which they are starting to call Post Covid Syndrome (PCS). Not as catchy as AIDS, so they'll probably come up with a better marketing term eventually.

They said it was a "Novel". Everyone knows a Novel is a work of Fiction. They told a joke and lots of people didn't get it. They always play word games within their stunts, like Shake Spear, just to make fun of us dummies.

This is a very Jordan Maxwell thing to say. Also very true.
