Salt makes me nauseous

I normally don't eat salt, i never crave it too, because my diet has decent sodium (although not optimum by some standards) and is pretty high in other alkali minerals, compensating the lack of salt.

Anyways, sometimes i try eating some salt for their metabolic boosting properties, but the result is always the same, tiny amounts gives me slighty nausea, and if i consume more generous quantities, it gives me diarrhea.

Do you guys think it is because i'm not used to it, therefore my body can't handle them well? I use unrefined sea salt without additives.

well, how do you eat it?
Well, I just put a pinch of it on meats, unsalted cheeses and milk. I usually just give up after nausea symptons hits me, but i'm gonna experiment for longer this time to see if this issue is just an initial side effect of reintroducing salt. Other side effect i noticed is increased hunger, probably i'm gonna have swollen feet next, hahah

What about baking soda?
Chloride could be problematic if you do not have enough buffers like bicarbonate

I've tried it before, and it's is way worse for me, hahah. I think salt will do the trick, i just had it with some milk and didn't feel as nauseous as before, l'll keep experimenting, let's see what happens,
