I never had problems digesting fruits. After appendectomy i was not yet on this diet, but since finding Peat fruits were always a big part of my diet. So when I came back home I ate fruits as a part of my daily foods. I think starch was not good for me. I feel much better without it. I believe that my better health and resistance to seasonal infections is strictly connected with elimination of stach and resutling lower endotoxin load. I hope you will find solution that will work for you.

This is where I am leaning towards. Been all fruit for a few months, just introduced beef back in. I am thinking maybe this combination might be the most optimal for health.

Yes, I can believe it.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It truly looks like we are onto something Big here.

We love details here. Feel free to share all you want. :ss2

You did Great.
How do you stay satiated with only fruit? You must be digesting very well.

I am familiar with his procotol. I went through anything I could find. I tried if for 3 months. Probably too short. But I was nit convinced it was absolutely safe. I started loosing hair like crazy. So i stopped and my hair stopped shedding.

Did you do it on your own, or under the care of a Coimbra specialist ?

I disagree. Low vitamin A foods will most likely do the same. While I do appreciate the break that high vitamin D gave me of my "auto-immune" condition so I could figured out what the problem actually was, vitamin A toxicity. I would not recommend high vitamin D to others with what I know now.

Finding the right diet for your body should always trump supplements.

You can't shove vitamins into your body while still injuring it with your diet. You will be going in circles.

Thank you Blossom. I know you are still struggling for better health and that you have success with your recent approach.
I believe in experimentation. Theories didn't help me much. So good luck.

I absolutely agree. I tried many supplements in previous years to no avail.

I did it on my own, but before I started I had read eveything accessible. I listened to Coimbra's interviews, went through all the testimonials. If I hadn't find another solution, I would probably get in touch with one of the doctors in Italy or Portugal to try his protocol under supervision. But today I am happy with what I achieved for the time being. I just don't feel it is right to flood the body with any substance unless it is the only solution left. I do not know what will happen in the future. If my symptoms come back, vit D will be definitely closer to my mind than immunosuppresants.

What Vit D dosage did you use ? Did you do blood tests ?

I was using up to 80 000 units. I know it is not much in Coimbra's world, but I was afraid to use more on my own.
I only tested vit D levels after 3 or 4 moths from stopping and it was 48. I did not test PTH.

No, Dr. Morse turned me. I went on an all grape diet with some lemons for a few months. Now I am realizing it was the low vitamin A diet(grapes and lemons) that was actually the ticket to to all this. #winning Its no wonder now why the grape diet cures cancer, auto immunes, pretty much most anything. Its the low vitamin A. Fun stuff!

Congratulations! I know how it feels. The only dark side is that finding the solution sometimes takes years. On the other hand people cought by medical machine, blindly believing their doctors will never get their chance. So let's be grateful and enjoy.

Yes, I agree 100%. I rarely see anyone truly heal through medicine (both alternative and conventional). I'm extremely grateful!

I have been following this diet for almost 2 years now. I came to the same conclusion as you, we are apes that evolved to eat meat, so a fruit/ juice based diet with some fat and some protein (i use mainly beef and shellfish). I also havent had starch for these two years as well and have felt much better without any bloating or issues. I have a few posts on the forum detailing my experiences and my theories behind it if your interested.

@Dino D
Try fruit juice instead of fruit, i had issues with fruit at first as well as issues with OJ. I switched to grape juice and pineapple juice and am doing much better.

@charlie
I’m not sure the issue is vit A as much as it is the effects of some of the foods containing vit A. I still consume vit A in the form of liver and I feel pretty great overall, but i do have issues with milk, sometimes eggs, and orange carrots in large quantities.

what a great post. super interesting. i bet the multiple doses of antibootics killed your gut - and i wonder if you were taking the evil Cipro one. i join you on thinking that meat and sugar really work. i was able to add back in dairy after TONS colon cleansing / detox and ( hate to say it ) probiotics. you might want to try A2 dairy if you want to give it a go again, worked for me.

This is basically what I'm doing: fruit juice and meat. Pretty much the only difference is that I use a lot of white sugar for calories and also I eat a little bit of potatoes( only 100 grams per day) and some parsley. I also got to the conclusion that starch is something to be careful with, my endotoxin production really skyrockets when I eat a lot of starch, which means bad mood, constipation and just an overall bad feeling throughout the whole day.
