Reverse THC/Cannabis Damage

Yep, I'm still experiencing the same weed-high like depersonalization and intellectual/emotional dulling after a year but because I don't have any studies to back up my claims, I'm either uninformed or a liar lol. (or just a lazy dumbass, which is probably the case)

I guess I should just blame it all on laziness because we certainly can't trust our own faculties let alone believe in our own experiences and should only rely on the scientific studies done by other people that are currently available for us to read on the internet to conclude anything
Could be from its action on the gut, in which case i'd recommend lidocaine.

How would one start reversing the cognitive decline/damage from chronic THC exposure? As many a regretful forum user goes, "Weed made me slightly retarded, such that I actually have to read some sentences twice to comprehend them fully."
Do you know the strain of cannabis you were consuming? unnaturally high thc strains, especially the skunk varieties have been shown to have negative brain effects like psychosis, or a slowing down of brain reaction speed like you mentioned. typically thc fully leaves the body within 3-6 months, so it seems something else happened along the way to have a lasting effect. back in the day, most of the people I saw get screwed up on the stuff either inhaled spiked batches, or smoked unnaturally high thc buds. i once smoked with a group whose stuff fell into one of those categories and i was clipping into door frames & walls for like 2 weeks. i never smoked with them again. it's even worse today with the spike in high thc dab usage. if you can varify that it was high thc strains, i wonder if pure cbd would somehow normal the situation. i imagine you don't want to go near the plant (or it's components), I'm just thinking this out as i write.

the emotional dulling is real, i've seen it often. this is not necessarily a bad thing (temporarily) if the person has low eq, and lacked the ability to control their emotional highs & lows.

some things i would look into.
do a heavy metal test, as lots of batches are sprayed with nasty stuff and not washed out.
get lots of light, clean air and sweating.
maybe work in some cold water into your shower to shock you up.
play speed games/tests, be it hand to eye, or just eye. anything to attempt to increase reaction time. memory games will also have a beneficial effect.
as for the retardation effect... outside of detoxing heavy metals and making sure you're hitting all your nutritional targets including calories, maybe sub in a stimulant like caffeine or nicotine while you work yourself back to normal. you'll eventually have to deal with another drug withdraw scenario (in the event you want to discontinue use), but it would be much better than what you're dealing with currently.

I think this has a lot to do with semi permanent damage to the dopamine system. Brainfog/depersonalization/low motivation etc. always seems to be connected to low dopamine. You can reverse a lot of the damage, I feel like it never fully goes away though unfortunately (especially if you've been a heavy user during brain development, so before the age of 25)

The exact same effects are often described in the "nofap" community:
Derealisation and depersonalisation is caused by masturbation
I think the whole no porn / no fap thing can help a lot.

Intense. there were a lot of different ones, some with chemicals most likely. Yea i was considering CBD actually, thanks. Also some good suggestions. Gracias mister

The principal downside of THC (not CBD mind you, which seems to have opposite effects) is that agonism of the CB1 receptor causes increased COX-2 expression in the brain, and therefore increased inflammatory prostaglandins. Something like aspirin, or maybe even more preferably a more brain-active cox-2 inhibitor like CBD or pycnogenol, should prevent and perhaps reverse any effects. Here's a study confirming that COX-2 inhibition prevents the negative neurological effects caused by THC: Δ9-THC-caused synaptic and memory impairments are mediated through COX-2 signaling
freaking awesome, thank you

Yeah i just put it im a capsule. Recently ive been suspecting androgens as beijg responsible for long-term cannabis side effects, dht supplementation has turned back the clock for me.

Going to get to work with my capsule machine then. Androgens are no bueno huh, that reminds me that I read some quote from Peat saying Test is almost as toxic as Estrogen. VERY INTERESTING!

My bad, i meant that thc is anti-androgen. Ive been using dht right now and i think it's reversing damage from weed. Weed is anti-test and dht.
