Don't you feel a bit discombobulated on such a large stack? Plus you should consider how many fillers you are putting into your gut, like magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide etc. Those can contribute to endotoxin which would be bad for hairloss.

I orderred mine from his supplier, AiXiZ or something, and they were fair priced. It was like 3$ per 5w diode. I bought like 80 of them.

There's bags on eBay for like 90% less.

None of my supplements contain fillers. And my hair was falling out years before taking them.

No regrowth :(
The only thing that stops my hair loss is eating at least 850 grams of carbs per day. It's very time consuming, and not practical for me.

Did you say 850?! O_O

Is that all fructose? I don't know if I could eat that much if I truly tried.

I have been concerned with my receding hairline for years. I have read just about everything there is to read regarding MPB, including Peat, Roddy, immortal hair, overmacho grande, plus the mainstream BS like finasteride/rogaine (stay the heck away)

What I believe is that MPB is the result of a combination of genetic and metabolic factors. I feel like I have all but optimized my metabolism, utilized every reccomendation of Peat and roddy, and the best it can do is slow down my hairloss considerably. When I eat very carefully and take a laundry list of supplements, I can almost stop my hairloss, and it the quality of my hair itself will be outstanding, strong, thick and shiny. But the receding hairline is something that doesn't seem to be as affected by metabolism. Some of us guys are just so susceptible to it. I don't beleive going bald is a black/white indicator of low metabolism. My dad, for instance, lost most of his hair except for a little tuft on top, by time he was 30. At 30 he seemed relatively healthy, and strong. He was in great shape and very muscular despite not lifting weights, and apparently had plenty of energy which is something that always stood out about him into his 50's. According to Roddy, bald men ahve low testosterone/energy/metabolism.So I don't beleive that being bald equates to that. I believe that the hair follicles of some men are simply much more sensitive to the effects of slower metabolism then others. Circulation, calcificaiton are also related factors, and some men have genetically superior circualtion in their scalp muscles.

So if metabolism isnt the ONLY factor at play what can i do?? What I found was that by using LLLT, I could literally reverse my MPB.

So that Is my big advise for regrowing hair, visit overmachogrande.com, where John offers DYI blueprints for a homeade laser helment, Should cost about 100 bucks.

It's the same principles as Red Light, only highly concentrated and directed straight into the tissues of the scalp. Seriously, after using my helmet for a few months I was able to almost totally reverse my hairloss, its crazy. Apaprently there is an 18 month window of regrowth, however, meaning you can't regrow any hair follicles lost more than 18 months ago... So put your mind and hands to work and build that laser helmet!!
Do you have before and after pics from the laser helmet? I'm just wondering because I have been waiting to see convincing evidence before buying one.

I don't think those are the same quality but you could try them. A few of mine have gone out maybe I will try those to replace them...
Have you looked into this yet Slade?

I'm considering making a helmet or buying one. It looks like the difference is the "diodes" machogrande uses are lasers, not LEDs. It also seems like they are quite thick comparatively to LEDs.

Did you buy the helmet part off him or make it yourself? I think a normal sized LED would be too small for the larger looking diode holes.

I'm also interested in making a helmet with 850nm LEDs/Lasers as these look to have a brain enhancing effect. Check out this thread; Lostfalco's Extensive Nootropic Experiments - Brain Health

Yes I think the diodes I bought off aixiz are significantly more powerful. I have not purcheased the cut-rate ebay ones yet, although i should soon. I need to repair my helmet because many of the diodes have gone out and it is basically non-funcitonal at the moment because so many of the diodes need replacement and more wiring. Not to take away from overmacho's design-because maintenance is something that seems natural to me after a couple years of constant usage.

When I first built my helmet I used the design available on overmachogrande's site. I emailed him a couple times asking about the design/contruction/ how to use and even about the laser effect on brain health, he then directed me to a laser therapy specialist whom I called up and had a nice long conversation with. he explained that the lasers dont actually penetrate further than the skull, but that the brain nonetheless responds to the light stimulating the scalp. Quite interesting, and in the end the brain will be energized and stimulated by the bright red light, but it is not deep enough to cause any measurable harm.

@Brandon,

Making a homemade saturated solution of caffeine is easy. Take some vodka add caffeine powder up to the saturation point.
If you use 100ml of vodka, you should be able to saturate the solution with 4-5 grams of caffeine. If crystallization occurs, simply filter the solution and voilà.

per 60ml mist spray bottle,

use 2.4 grams of niacinamide

@john,

What kind of solvent do you use?
What's the alcohol percentage?
I make my own saturated solution with 4-5% of caffeine without any crystallization ( the ambient temperature here in Cannes is around 21-23 celsius degrees). The solubility of caffeine will improve with the alcohol percentage/content of the solvent, I think Haidut is using a 20% ethanol solution for his Solban, no?
I'm currently using vodka with a twice higher alcohol percentage than the ethanol solution of Solban.
Anyway, I make a saturated solution per Ray's recommendation and, of course, you can make lighter version of it.
Low-dose caffeine seems to work, in-vitro, but I'm simply not sure about the transdermal therapeutic amount needed for an effective in-vivo result. And I decided to follow Ray's advice. To be honest, I did not notice any differences so far but I've only been using this lotion for 2 weeks....One of my friend is using with success this kind of solution and he got positive results but only after 3-4 months of daily use for stopping his hair loss ( however no success for hair re-growth.)
The combination of caffeine with a substance like Cegaba ( a close relative to GABA ) might be a safe alternative to the minoxydil stuff....

I wouldn't describe it as an itch, per say, but when I have high estrogen I get a clumsy, wet kind of feeling especially at my scalp. It feels like there is poor circulation and that my hair is oily, possibly from icnreased sebum and follicle closure.

This overmachogrande site has been around over a decade and there's not even one picture around that can prove these lasers can grow hair on bald temples, LLLT can probably be effective for diffuse thinners, actual regrowth is a different story.

bump. have any males here regrown hair on the hairline?

Microscopic percentages.

Diet overhaul peat based, and transplant seem the only viable option.

Thinning/Shedding= metabolic, I got it when I went low carb- Danny roddies work

Recessed temple=Calcified/head shape/galia...etc.
