I cook off the water as well in a sauté - anywhere from 30-45 min. No problems from this method. I have not made it to the boiling yet. Somehow doesn't appeal to me. Though I have put in slow cooker lamb stew that I cook for 8 hours.I cook off the water initially in a sautée phase. That releases dangerous hydrazine. Then I add water and cook for 45 minutes often making a soup. That seems quite satisfactory.
