What slays me is that it is almost simple minded to refute the AHA position. It is standard textbook knowledge that the "yellow streaks" associated with coronary artery disease are full of oxidized LDL. The lipo part of a lipoprotein is a fatty acid. Since saturated fatty acids don't oxidize, it is chemically impossible for saturated fats to cause coronary artery disease.
