I just got the peak 630 redlight. I think it is a pretty powerful redlight (most suggestions for times of exposure are 1 to 3 minutes max). In the directions they say "Do not shine directly on the thyroid." Why do you think that is? That's one of the main things i wanted to do with it....

Maybe it's too powerful? I've shined incandescents on my thyroid lots of times, it's extremely calming and raises my heart rate.
