    Hi guys,

I am just wondering, some of you seems to be in contact with Dr. Peat, can someone a little bit computer savvy arrange that he start to send paid newsletter through email? It's not a rocket science.

I travel a lot and and I would love to get the newsletter to my inbox. I bet it could also be cheaper, easier and some trees would live longer.

One could arrange, that he would get a cut from every email subscription or something...

    Cheers

I think the paper is the only barrier to unlimited redistribution.

Not much of a barrier these days with scanners and cameras etc. Its probably more a matter of what Ray is comfortable with tech wise. Or maybe as a step in weeding out those not fully into what he has to say.

Well have you seen any floating around? it turns into a deliberate effort instead of just a copy and paste. Plus they don't seem handwritten so he is going that extra mile to print them out. Probably many recipients don't use a computer as well.

Does the forum put the new newsletter somewhere where we can read it?

I would pay for them and not distribute them over the internet. As long as I can afford it and feel it benefits my health. For the price of a single consultation with one of those so-called nutritionist gurus you can subscribe to a few years of ray's newsletters.

    My opinion, strictly.

I was thinking about this: even for those who prefer a printed version, it might be nice to switch to the e-mail version just to save Peat the printing and mailing costs, and then printing it yourself.

I guess someone is helping Peat to move to more modern distribution methods. I hope they consider adding payment options as well if they start to accept new subscribers. Didn't Peat mention that books are being digitalized, also.

Someone could point Dr Peat in the direction of Patreon. (www.patreon.com)

There he could set up a newsletter that's available to paying subscribers.

I asked Ray Peat about his newsletter, specifically for people in Europe:

Good point. Another thing that bothers me is that his books are backed up and some unavailable.

Why doesn't he just self publish them and get other companies to work for him and print-on-demand when someone purchases?
That was all his work will be available on AMAZON instantly via pdf and never out of stock in paperback versions.

If somebody can help him do this that would be a great service to humanity.

email or PM me, I don't have his email. I'm a publisher. I'd love to get his stuff out there and there would be nothing in it for me except to get his info out there.

When you say you're a publisher, what does that mean exactly?

I publish in health topics to large lists of subscribers. I'm anonymous here and will remain that way.
