I love onions! I use the sweet Maui and spring onions mostly.

No. I think Ray's not enthusiastic about them. I use cooked ones though for a little flavor. I use sautéed onions to flavor mushrooms for example.

I didn't know about the anti-thiamine function, or if I did, I forgot. Good to know because my husband is using high dose thiamine therapy. Thanks

So, I went back to the post you linked. Did you know that Dr Costantini who used thiamine with Parkinsons' patients advised not taking thiamine with coffee.. I'm not sure if he included Coke and Tea, but he did say to wait an hour before ingesting coffee. I think it comes down to quantities too. But people have to do what's practical.

It's important to know these principles, to keep them in mind, but in living we have to make compromises. There are supplements that counteract each other too. You can't do it perfectly but you try to balance priorities. That's what I try to do.

I would definitely not take thiamine with quercitin, or with ivermectin or any related compounds.
