I ordered raw milk from a farm.. 4 gallon is the minimum so I have 4 gallons

. If left unopened how long will it last in fridge ? The delivery guy said 7 days but he seemed clueless and I think he thought I meant after opening ..

If he is right .. can I freeze raw milk and defrost in fridge before drinking ? Is that a thing ? I love milk but I’m not drinking 4 gallons a week lol .

A week is probably the max. It depends on when it was milked (before it got to you) and conditions (temperatures) it's been in since then. You can freeze it, though I never have. Make sure you pour off some from each container though before you freeze it, so it has room to expand. Pouring what you aren't going to freeze in to (clean) glass container(s) and keeping it tightly closed seems to help get the most shelf life out of it that you can. I guess another possibility would be to make yogurt or kefir out of some of it. Maybe even cook some of it down to condensed so you don't have all that liquid to go through in such short time.
