I have been researching radiotherapy for cancer and it seems the way that 'treatment' works is by damaging and breaking the genetic code of the cell, which then renders it unable to replicate itself. I've read in one of Ray Peat's articles that radiation damages the body via estrogen.
Is it the damage of the genes that results in the production of estrogen, or the production of estrogen that results in the damage of the genes?
