Interesting it's a good choice to get them removed there's much more to benefit from removing them than keeping them I gues..
For the actual retainer part, I don't want mine anymore anyways. I lost my removable retainer for my top teeth when I moved. Barely had any teeth move. But for the bottom, despite the permanent retainer, the rest of the teeth moved, sort of caving in. So if I'm going to have to get a spanner or full work again, I don't need something nasty that's probably causing a bad reaction. That's just me, though.

Today I've been at the dentist and they told me the retainer should stay in there for as long as possible.
However they said that it fall out by itself anyway at some point .
Any idea how to speat up the process?

I actually found out that there is some metal leakage from the retainer into the blood .
So I removed it by myself.
