My scalp is quite tight. It's easy to pinch it if I use my nails, I can "move" the skin quite a bit that way, but using just my fingertips makes it very hard. Is it ok to use nails?

massage isn't really about increasing bloodflow, it's about relaxing the muscles that restrict bloodflow and cause tension, inflammation and ultimately fibrosis around the galea.

so no, i doubt nipping will be beneficial relative to deep tissue massage. the point of detumescence is to reduce swelling, and i imagine nipping skin which is already under tension will only make it swell more
