I began taking 5 drops per day orally for the last two days. I took transdermally before but I didn’t get the same effects I’m feeling now.

I noticed feeling much more calm and less anxious.

I have had some form of ADD for a while. I’ve learned to manage it and don’t take any medication. After taking pyrucet I noticed being able to concentrate much more easily. I hope this effect lasts!
Interesting, thank you...my daughter has ADD...let us know how it goes w you and the best to you.

It feels like my whole mind and body has calmed down. A very noticeable change after taking Pyrucet.

Better able to focus on tasks at work. Able to have longer conversations with people without my mind drifting into my thoughts. Less fidgety. Less anxiety.

Anyone have an idea of the specific mechanism of action that would cause this? In any case, I’m very happy it’s happening. I almost feel like a different person.

Would be interested to know if other people with ADD or anxiety have had this experience with pyrucet

Hello All/ @haidut
I am trying this for cystic type acne/lumps under the skin... this is one of my most resistant and intractable long term problems (insomia is another)...
I tried everything over the years...
Anyone have any thoughts?

How are you guys handling the taste of it?
I tried my first dose of 5 drops and found it quite uncomfortable in the tongue.
Also, I wonder how does Pyrucet interact with Oxidal.

This might be early to tell, but I can tell this product having a subtle influence on me. Makes me very calm and composed, alpha-like and gives me a subtle mental and physical boost. I've only tried 10-15 drops maximum in the first 2 days.
I am also making an effort to restrict fat intake to 20%

I actually like how it tastes.
Am I a freak?

For those using orally and having some issues with the taste, which is admittedly quite strong: simply drop your desired amount sublingually and then quickly wash down with your beverage of choice.

Any chance to get a separate product with ethyl pyruvate only? Pyrucet has been a mixed bag for me. It significantly improves my memory but at the same time makes me feel very tired, lightheaded, sleepy etc.- no amount of carbs help and coffee only potentiates that effect!

I'd really like to test if it's the Aceatoacetate component that's problematic for me.

I have been reading up on this ever since I hear Hans and Georgi talking about. I did not know much of anything about way pyruvate worked and its pathways. The more I learn about it the more interesting it seems.

+1 Would love to try it without the acetoacetate, if possible.

Is this acetoacetate safe for long term use?

Curious if anyone knows... Does consistently taking Pyrucet prevent one from burning excess body fat when metabolism is high and there is a slight calorie deficit? Ie does it make it more difficult to loose body fat while taking it?

I had two knee surgeries (ACL reconstructions) on my left knee 8 years ago. I haven't had too many problems with my knee since then, but 6 months ago, I started sprinting for exercise, 3 days in a row. I didn't injur myself while sprinting, but my knee slowly puffed up and became stiff over the following month. I thought my knee would heal, but it didn't. I developed a bakers cyst, then it popped, and I became bed ridden due to knee pain, and lost most of the muscle in my knee and I couldn't walk more than a couple blocks all summer without my knee puffing up. I saw a sports specialist and had an ultrasound and x-ray done. The sports specialist told me that I probably had osteoarthritis, due to the x-ray showing that my meniscus was reduced in size (due to my knee joints being closer together).

My friends joked that my knee trouble was probably due to my consumption of sugar.

I tried everything I could, topical progesterone on my knee, large doses of B1, MSM, etc. Some of this stuff really helped, but the problems with my knee didn't disappear entirely. I was expecting my knee to heal, but it really seemed like I might be stuck with osteoarthritis for the rest of my life.

Then, I took 12 drops of Pyrucet orally, and then two days later, another 12 drops orally along with a gram of taurine. Then I suddenly noticed that my knee problems had disappeared entirely. I was suddenly able to go on longer walks without experiencing a stiff swollen knee (along with a puffed up bakers cyst) the following day. It's been a month now, no knee pain, inflation or problems. I've been experimenting with Pyrucet once or twice a week ever since. I love it.

@haidut, it seems like this supplement might be remarkably beneficial for arthritis.

Does anyone think I was basically having a problem metabolizing glucose, and this was contributing to my knee problems?
