Proteolytic enzymes & antibiotics question

I have an ear infection and got prescribed augmentin. Now before I started the augmentin I was taking proteolytic enzymes which helped with the ear pressure. Can i still take the proteolytic enzymes along with the antibiotics or will the enzymes affect how well the antibiotics work?

I wonder if that would be a good combo. I have hear proteolytic enzymes release trapped bacteria.

I dont know if it was or wasn't good combination but the infection and mucus are gone now. The only thing I'm dealing with at the moment is my eustachian tubes aren't working correctly. Whenever the furnace is running or something that changes the air pressure in the room I'll get pressure built up in my head. The only thing that seems to help this situation is sudafed
