Protein Daily Amount. How Much?

hello :D

i am 242 pound
6.2
18 percent body fat

i workout from about 11 years ... no supplement .. no steroids ...

anyway how much protein should every one consume daily for an optimal health

i know that bodybuiders websites and whatever
are full of crap andddd grrrrr.....

how many grams of protein for a pound of body weight ??

because i was reading for a good guy here saying that eating small amount of protein will cause insomnia and its unhealthy also...

so any thoughts ?

The blanket recommendation given here is 80g for hypothyroid people, and 100g for everyone else, minimum. More may be required for athletes, weight lifters, the sick and the injured.

My advice would be to consume as much as is needed to feel good and increase strength, and then no more than that.

im consuming about 150g on a daily basis

Now

Yesterday I ate 200 grams of protein

And about 220 grams of cars

I slept 5 hours at night

Protein sugar salt ratio is really important

It differs from one to another

I believe 2:1 is the best
For me

Which is 200 protein for 400 cars
I will try that this beautiful day to see if it's better for my sleep
