I came across this study today and thought it would be interesting to share here.
Protective Effects of Milk Casein on the Brain Function and Behavior in a Mouse Model of Chronic Stress
I noticed the 'non stress normal diet' had higher serotonin than the 'non stress normal diet plus casein', then the serotonin levels reduced in both groups when stress was induced, but the casein group maintained higher serotonin levels. I'm interested if anyone has any ideas of why this could be?
