if you compare these 2 studies:

you may notice progesterone ranges:
male: 1000...4500 nanogram/milliliter (figure 5.2)
female: 100...600 picogram/milliliter (figure 1)
question:
1) how come male has 4 orders of magnitude more progesterone then female?

ideally measuring male and female levels in the same study?
