Is it even possible for an anthlete during exercise to be in pro thyroid state, or does the nature of excerising quick, cycling, running, tennis, basketball etc put one in fight or flight response as soon as the glygogen is depleted as fast as the level of intensity, an athlete will continue to eat carbs during the prolonged activity, does the carb intake allow one to keep a fight or flight response for longer?

Can a pro thyroid state ever be "stronger/faster then a fight or flight response?

I think if your liver is loaded with glucose and nutrients prior to exercise, it's your glucagon hormones, secreted by the pancreas which will signal the liver to release glucose in the blood stream. As opposed to cortisol increasing glucose under stress.

No, all competitive/"extreme" athletes always are taxing their systems unnaturally no matter what. You can use roids, etc. & mitigate some damage for some time, but that's it. Some incredible examples exist where there may be individuals who played sports very intensely over the years but show not too much damage, but it's still stressful.

The thyroid/"optimal metabolic" state will never overlap with the insane extents people in to serious, highly demanding sports go as this does not align physiologically. It's kind of like saying how you can get fire to not burn as hot, but to keep burning intensely -- you really can't. Competitive athletes always depend on stress > health/more balance.

Ultimately no person is "meant" to or "organically inclined" to be a crazed, insanely dedicated athlete -- it's only a thing people of recent times more been "conditioned" in to.

Have you heard of pro athletes as in today's world hundreds of years ago? At certain points in time many probably would think you're crazy if you're too in to physical stuff as only in the last 100 years of so did people start (wrongly) attributing "health" or "health increases" with the idea of heavily straining your body just to "adapt" to it.

If one feels good and wants to do some physical activity that's one thing -- but many today think you gotta be a freerunning, high-flying, multiple times your bodyweight lifting gymnast on zero sugar and zero sodium @ 10% bodyfat with abs, a chiseled jawline and the ability to jog/run miles on end to be of "optimal health" more or less.

I’ve been at this point where I see athletes, sport and just think what’s the point of this? There is no meaning to any of it.

I’m all for physical activity as a job or doing something like farming or building something useful.
