The following book is excellent. @RedLightMan and @Such_Saturation might be interested.
Instead of quoting, it's better to just share the link of this one because things were becoming obscene due to the amount of valuable information.
There are other subjects, other than the entire Part III on Light Therapy, that are worth checking, like pages 251-253 on hyperthermy, electric shock, exercise (chapter XXIII), the combination of therapies for various conditions, etc.

"Likewise if the sun were to cease sending us the green portion of the spectrum, on which depends the formation of chlorophyll all important for vegetable life --all life on earth would become extinct." :ss

What is a lightbath? Like a tanning bed?
Here's a description of a clinical way of doing it back then:
"Electric Light Baths.- Electric light baths of the upright type consist of a metal or wooden cabinet fitted with a number of incandescent lamps arranged along the inner sides. The lamps are, as a rule, 80-watt bulbs having a carbon or tungsten filament controlled by a number of switches, so that some or all of them may be turned on. The cabinet should be partially open at the top and should have an air vent, preferably at the center of the floor. A thermometer emerging from the top registers the temperature inside."

Yes, thank you as well! I've tried looking for this book many times in the past few years and could never find it.

They had it at my university library :D. It's the fourteenth edition though (from 1968) so I hope it didn't lose too much "old textbook value"
