There was no thread here about pregabalin aka Lyrica yet, so i'll go first;

What do we know about pregabalin? My doctor thought it could be something to try for anxiety.
He wrote me a perscription, though i'm doing OK at the moment so i don't think i'll be using it any time too soon.

Are any of you experienced with it?
Seeing as it's a sort of GABA derivative, should the effects resemble phenibut?
Does it suck when you have to quit if you've been going up to high doses?

Oh, and has Ray ever commented on the use of GABAergics like phenibut?
Would be fun to know what he thinks of them, especially since he seems to have a good handle on the russian science literature which i understand have done a lot of work on especially phenibut.

If you type phenibut into the search bar you will get some interesting stories.
Generally it has withdrawals and acts like a hdac inhibitor I think.

Seems like it doesn't directly agonize the A or B receptor the way Benzodiazepines do. It's a GABA analogue the way Nuerontin is, but Lyrica increases the GAD enzyme.
