In the hospital for low blood pressure and tachycardia after crashing my estrogen with letrozole.

Pickle juice and milk saved my life, along with deep breathing.

+1 for pickle juice.

Take care Dave.

How do you figure the deep breathing was helpful?

Thank you guys.

@tara
My heart rate got up to 140, and deep breathing kept it below 120. When I stopped deep breathing it shot up again.

When I got my temps up it also dropped, and the lightheadedness went away.

They don't even have salt in the hospital. Ridiculous.

I swear I'm dying. These are unimaginably bad sides.

Completely discontinuing for the next few days at least.

UPDATE: Turns out all my negative symptoms were caused by dehydration.

Drank enough juice and now I feel hot, like taking 4 grains of thyroid.

Did they not give you IV drip or are they cost cutting?
They did, and I was perfectly fine during the process, but aftwards was harsh.

I threw up about 10 minutes ago because I ate too much food, but I felt great up until that point. A few minutes afterwards, the nasty side-effects returned.

I just had some pickles, milk, and progesterone. (Ray says progesterone helps the kidneys to retain sodium, and it's definitely helping.)

Thyroid lowered my stress as well.

I would give quids to hear/see what the med staff make of that combo!
Go well and I am sure you will bounce back quickly.

Thank you. This was really bad timing during finals week. I'm an idiot.

Any suggestsions for a resting pulse of 100-110? Anxiety is unreal.

Good advice, I appreciate that. I just made the decision to change my major from banking to medicine, so I guess some good came of it.

Glad you are doing alright, now you know more than the mds!
Low blood pressure and tachycardia - is that what low Estrogens feels like, or this should be the result of the er treatment?

Actually those things sound pretty much like dehydration

Thank you guys.

I think the drug is almost out of my system. Now I'm dealing with HIGH estrogen. Just horrible.

Progesterone is unbelievable. Completely takes away all symptoms.

That's awesome. How much progest E did you take? It was progest E, I assume?
