John Gray has some great insights into human behaviour, his books are worth time, he doesn't really take a particular angle, more puts together historical facts on human behaviour, he adds his own opinions from time to time but wouldn't be too rigid imo.
I don't agree with everything he says but if you want books where you can get a short history lesson and access to a great bibliography you could do worse, the books pack a huge amount for such short reads,he has a similar ability as Peat,no interest in verbosity, unfortunately he doesn't grasp biology very well but I would imagine he is the kind who would be wide open to it.
He sees through the mass amount of BS in human behaviour.
This video is one of many.
