From a food/supplement/hormone perspective, what helped? I'm inclining towards it being related to dopamine and androgens, but I'm open to new ideas.

Anti serotonin and dopaminergic drugs. Ample rest and good nutrition. A few herbs and hormones.
Beef soup is critical. Everything else doesn’t work well unless I’m well-nourished first. Then things like alcohol, coffee, marijuana, etc... all push me in whatever directions I feel appropriate at the time.
If I’m unmotivated I just accept that I’ve eaten poorly, and I’ll mope around until my digestion has reset and I can eat again to fix it. Drugs, supplements, herbs, whatever, all help, but the true nourishment, energy, ground work, comes from the food.
Beef soup in particular?
What kind of herbs and hormones? I'm having success with DHEA lately as long as I keep the estrogen in check
Whilst you specifically asked for advice from a food/supplement, the biggest help for me was making the following lifestyle changes:
These were chosen to limit screen usage and improve sleep quality as my eyes were getting progressively sore (Work necessitates 8 hours of screen usage a day).
- Limit Phone use, uninstall social media (maintain whatsapp to chat/organize with friends)
- Pack away desktop computer, get it out for specific tasks
- stop playing videogames completely
- absolutely no screen use after 8pm
I found myself quite grumpy, and misanthropic on the first few days but this subsided. Afterwards I found my motivation to exercise, socialise and Paint/Draw was drastically increased and it became much easier incorporating these into a daily routine. My propensity for procrastination was also markedly reduced.
Last September I decided to play the Re-release of Classic WoW (I know, I know) for nostalgia purposes. Within a week I could feel myself regressing to my former state, so quickly unsubscribed before I got too far into that rabbit hole.
Come on! Sugar, honey, orange juice, apple juice, but mainly white sugar, and cut back on the fats, especially pufa and mufa (olive oil). Drink a lot of orange juice.
Sounds delicious! I think I'll make a broth sometime this week and see how it makes me feel. Beef always makes me feel pretty good and solid.yea regular meat just won’t cut it. The salty broth with all the vegetables, salt, and fats mixed in is a whole different experience. My recipe is 85/15 ground beef, onions, tomatoes, spinach, green onions, salt, Chile pepper, water.
edit: forgot the mushrooms!!!! White button of course.... dabble with the psilocybe if you’d like...but at your own risk!!!
Thanks! Great suggestions. I think I'm dealing with a gut issue and cypro and adamantane are 2 of my favorites, can't be a coincedence.Coffee, chocolate, Siberian ginaeng, cistanche and palm pollen. Thyroid glanduar, t3 and pansterone. Cyproheptadine, lisuride, adamantane and taurine. Gut has to be fixed first for optimal digestion. I founf cyprohepradine an adamantane profoundly fixes any gut issues. Lastly, eat fo nurishment and enjoyment.
I'd argue it's the only thing that matters.Raising metabolism has an enormous impact
Just throw it all together and boil it? Or do you pan fry the beef and/or veggies first? If you could explain the steps that would be sincerely appreciated. :)yea regular meat just won’t cut it. Uninstalling apps from your phone? Cmon guys, we know better. Anything that is done forcefully is bound to failure and frustration.
You don't need to kill procrastination, you need to find something that drives you enough.
I always laugh at these self improvement routines like morning rituals. Used to fall for them, silly.
Whenever I have a lazy Sunday all by myself I take a drop or two of lisuride and get super motivated for a few hours . I write lists organize stuff, remember to do things that I always procrastinate.
And helps to think outside the box and think about your life in general . I really like at as a once per month thing :)
