Hi,

Anytime I take anything that lowers cortisol I end up breaking out in hives. Things that caused hives include 7-Keto Dhea, BCAA's, Magnesium Oil, Orange Juice, sugar. Usually after a few days or weeks of using these I will end up getting allergic skin reactions.

A lot of Ray Peats diet include things that lower cortisol esp. sugar. Cortisol is a major anti allergy hormone. So should people with low cortisol not follow a ray peat diet?

Cortisol may be a major anti-allergy hormone, lowered by sugar, but sugar is also a fairly effective anti-histamine.
I get mild morningitis - hay-fever - some mornings. Breakfast usually sorts it.
But I'm also managing an eczema-like rash the last few months that is quite new for me, so I'm interested in ideas. I haven't isolated a trigger yet.
