I get the fruit of the earth brand from walmart as it is less than $8 for a gallon with the same ingredients as the $20+ stuff from the health food store. It works great.

Be careful of marketing is my only comment on why there is such a huge discrepancy in price......

No, aloe vera juice....like this: http://www.amazon.com/Aloe-Vera-Juice-L ... vera+juice

I don't use that brand though, it fine too...just a lot more expensive. Gels have thickening agents that are not intended for consumption. I mix it with juice (lemondade or cranberry work great) or make aloe dew or pepsi vera. Add a little coconut water to the pepsi throwback and aloe and you have something really delicious, IMO.

Here's the Walmart link for the less than $8 half gallon. Good deal.

I live in Canada and wonder if Walmart here carries this!

Thanks Jenn.

So do all aloe vera juices have citric acid and sodium benzoate added, or something else just as bad or worse?

Yes....but they are gnats....the benefits outweigh the negatives. Unless you make your own, but I am am not familiar with that process. I don't believe "whole leaf" is more beneficial as the skins of many things have defensive features.
