This kind of explain why RP recommends fully ripe papaya. This study is showingRay Peat said:The two main classes of plant allergens are the stress-induced chitinases, and seed storage proteins, such as gluten. The chitinase allergens are responsible for reactions to latex (which is secreted by rubber trees in reaction to a wound), bananas, avocados, many other fruits and vegetables, and some types of wood and other plant materials. Intensive agricultural methods are increasing the formation of the defensive chemicals, and the industrialized crops are responsible for the great majority of the new allergies that have appeared in the last 30 years.

They have like the best calcium phosphorus ratio of almost any fruit and are not really acidic at all, I think PH is like 6+...so in that sense, its probably one of the most fundamentally balanced and alkaline forming food there is without really any intestinal offense at all. Its a great food
I'd say there's 100 risk they will never find a relevant sample to test this.further studies will be necessary to ascertain the ultimate risk of unripe papaya-semi-ripe papaya consumption during pregnancy in man.
IIRC it was something about reducing liver function and promoting cancer, because it's a soluble fiberCan’t find exactly why, but what does ray find wrong with the pectin found in fruit juice/jams etc?

Modified citrus pectin is used to treat cancer, by suppressing the galectin-3 molecule, I believe, so I am wondering if all the negatives about pectin would apply to MCP, which has many therapeutic benefits regarding inflammation, cancer, and metal detoxing?it gets converted into a carcinogen, aldehyde/formaldehyde i think. i always use the serach bar for these things
