This is not the best oyster soup recipe - there is another much better one, but it takes more time so I don't get round to it.
This is just extremely quick and easy and tastes good to me.

Chop oysters. Fry quickly in butter or coconut oil. Add liquid. Add milk and return to simmer v. briefly. Eat.
If I could be bothered with pulling apart and scrubbing the blender afterwards, I'd probably blend this, but i'm too busy/lazy.
