Is there any food item on this planet that escapes the Coloring Squad? According to LiveScience website, Commercial oranges are often bright orange because an artificial dye, Citrus Red Number 2, is injected into their skins at a concentration of 2 parts per million.

I eat "juice" oranges - the skin is thinner, more like yellow and they're not overly sweet. "Normal" oranges always strike me as artificial looking as well as questionable nutrient wise.
