Winter is coming and I am already seeing less and less quality oranges.

I have no Trader Joes, Whole Foods, or Costco within an hour and a half. Are there any other flavor pack free options? I've been juicing my own up until now.

Simply Orange
Probably uses flavor packs
(their carefully-worded answers to me make me believe they do use flavor packs, which is also suggested by this article)

No it's just the end of the season for many varieties they will really pick up in november. Just like apples and pears, citrus usually grows over the summer and ripens in fall/winter. The good summer fruits are berries, stone fruits(peaches, plums, cherries) melons. Fall and winter fruit is citrus, persimmon, apples, pears, kiwi. This is not a full list just so you kinda get an idea. Also Peat may not be into some of those fruits I am aware.
