Okay so you eat a restaurant meal, that you tried to order low in batter and grease, but it was prepped with oil, not the coconut or olive kind. So you eat your entree pretending it's fine. Let's say you are trying to keep polyunsaturates under a certain amount a day and now you've just eaten a bunch of them.

Beside short-term effects, how big of a deal is restaurant oil once in a while?

The studies I've seen on replenishing unsaturated fats in deprived patients inolve a couple days of treatment just to see a change in tissue content so that's good...
