I don't doubt that its not a good thing to do. But could it be a gamechanger?

Wow that's not good. How often do you masturbate/sex now to maintain good function?

well i have a gf who i have sex with 2-4 times a day. i have a very high libido. but not in a good way, more the estrogen obsession/never satiated way. so idk what was better. completely asexual or hyper sexual. well its just my anecdote but there are many anecdotes and people ive talked to whos libidos havent returned after 3-4 years since they did nofap.

I never thought of that happening , wow. Well I've been trying to nofap for many years and never succeeded for very long. Guess it may be a good thing, or guess my body might've known better . Never watched or was interested in porn btw ...

Anyway , Good luck with your health pro marker

Are you using any supplements atm?

Definitely do masturbate. No question about it. Supressing your natural libido only to "spiritually ascend" is terrible for the body.
I don't think porn is the evil aswell. You should though look at your relationship with porn. So for some individuals it might be better to quit altogether, but myself and plenty others can watch porn say once or twice a week, jack away, and don't think about it 5 mins later. There's always people who just want more hardcore stuff, then it serves like a basic drug addiction. There's also folk who see a nice pair of boobies or whatever, have fun with their body and move on right? Black and white thinking leads no where

You can see my post history where i regrettably answered to such a thread before. I was blatantly attacked personally and rebutted by cherrypicked corrupt studies, then when i provided irrefutable evidence of the damage caused by stopping normal reproductive signalling the person decided to stop replying.

Nofap heroes are similar people as who advocate you eat contraceptive pills to stop hair loss.

Massive new age coping mechanism by sub-healthy males trying to induce homeostasis through wrong methods.

it's almost like a religion to them. there's buddhism, judaism and now nofapism.

it all stems from unhealthy coping mechanism instead of diverging to crackin good jokes and seeing the silly in all of it

Have the same experience, sadly. NoFap ruined my libido and I'm unable to get it back.

Use it or lose it.

try no porn, low coom (have orgasms when sexual distraction in every day life gets too high), and regularly edging (to keep function/elasticity)

i think one of the reasons they and i have had issues with porn is becuse they get less excited and in my case tense their pc muscle during masterbation to make the erection harder and cum faster this leads to pelvic floor imbalances
they need to learn to realx and masterbate without porn but no fap or never cumming really isnt good in long term and will shut you down i think if you dont use it you lose it

I went 5 years or so with what they call hardmode and my libido only improved massively. It brought other problems and reasons I started it came from deeply seated self image problems but physically it's been nothing but benefits everywhere.

I'm really curious, how old are you? How often do you have sexual intercourse?

32. I don't have intercourse and it's been long stretch again that I had one lol. It's not something I think any healthy male should be aiming for but with risk of repeating myself too much my context is deeply rooted self image issues (yes, I understand it's in my head ha ha). so I am somewhat perfect fit for no fap lifestyle. This getting too much into therapy type of writing so I just say that my libido got stronger during prolonged stretch of celibacy but not in a bothersome drive me crazy way. More as always in the background available and "wouldn't mind" type of
option. And too add I had very unfortunate stretch where I've been flushed trough multiple nasty SSRI's and Antipsychotics and still maintain somewhat regular morning erections with relatively healthy libido. This by the way isn't encouragment to go on no fap. Just sharing my own anecdote.

Nofap actively damaged my libido and erectile function for a while when I tried it so I’d say just don’t watch porn.

If you don't actively have sexx and you don't masturbate, your member is gonna shrink. There's reports all over the Internet. Makes perfect sense.
When you feel like masturbating, go take a shower and do the deed.

I've done nofap for 90 days and more when in my mid-teens multiple times. Some of it was to fix addictive behavior, the other was what @camy9000 pointed out which is pelvic floor tension. It's a big deal that goes unnoticed by the nofap community. A lot of them have low hormones and pelvic tension which is why it takes some of them 6 months or longer to feel something while others get better in 2 weeks

"Relapse" is inevitable for most. Just don't watch porn and depending on how nutritious/healthy your diet and lifestyle are, will determine how much you should masturbate. There's a difference between getting an erection without doing anything and getting one by fantasizing because your bored. Don't fool yourself. Good luck
