"The government which considered Pauling a threat to national security, had placed thousands of German and Hungarian “ex”-Nazis in high positions in industry and government agencies, after protecting them from prosecution as war criminals."

I wonder if John Gofman knew about these ex-Nazis?

Thanks. Here is a link on John Gofman.

Okay.
But I think it is important
not to get too carried away with these kinds of quotes from Dr. Peat.

For example, let's take an "isolated topic":
Ray Peat says to eat a carrot every day for endotoxin.
Can we not understand from that statement,
that we should eat
1. a carrot and not a cabbage?
2. the carrot every day and not every hour?
3. the carrot because of endotoxin and not because the carrot is filled with nutrients?

Yes, but understanding the rationale for Peat's famous daily raw carrot quickly takes you beyond the realm of carrots and bacteria. :2cents

I have a bad feeling that I inadvertantly "baited" you with this quote...

^^It's so true. Instead of having the carrot, maybe we should eat salads for fiber and DIM for general estrogen / liver detox.

Yes, like a plump, juicy earthworm to this largemouth bass!
Like a red flag to this prolix bull!
(That's okay--I know it was nothing personal. :D )

:rolling :rollingred

Narouz, you have outdone yourself.

It didn't occur to me that the quote looked like an obvious salvo by the Dao of Peat camp against the Non-Authoritarian Systematizers in the scuffle over the "Starting Point Peat Diet." I wonder if Phil Spector's defense team is free. No, wait, on second thought...
